Pemerintah Kota Semarang - Pemkot Semarang is the City Government of Semarang. The City of Semarang is a cosmopolitan capital of Central Java province, lies on the north coast of the island of Java. The City has total population of 1,629,924 people in 2012. This was stated by Statistics Indonesia Central Java as cited by JobsCDC.com. The City of Semarang has an area of 373.70 km² and administratively divided into 16 districts and 177 urban villages. The City of Semarang bordered to Kendal regency in the west, Demak regency in the east, Semarang regency in the south and Java sea in the north with a coastline length of 13.6 kilometers. The City of Semarang headed by a Mayor and currently held by Hendrar Prihadi.
