Kementerian Perindustrian Republik Indonesia - Kemenperin is the Ministry of Industry of Republic Indonesia. Kemenperin is the government ministry in Indonesia which oversees the industry affairs. Kemenperin responsible for the governance, regulation, advancement, promotion, management and growth of industry in Indonesia. Kemenperin was formerly known as Departemen Perindustrian (Depperin) or the Depertement of Industry. Kemenperin is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl Gatot Subroto Kav. 52-53 Jakarta Selatan. Kemenperin was led by the Minister of Industry (Menperin) and since 27 Juli 2016 held by Airlangga Hartarto. Kementerian Perindustrian has Directorate General (DG), namely DG of Manufacturing Based Industry, DG of Agro Based Industry, DG of High Tech. Industry, DG of Small and Medium Industry, DG of Regional Development, and DG of International Industrial Cooperation.
