Kementerian Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia - KEMLU is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a ministry in the Indonesian Working Cabinet (Kabinet Kerja) which oversees the foreign affairs of Indonesia. Formerly known as Departemen Luar Negeri (DEPLU) or the Department of Foreign Affairs. In 2008,  the Department of Foreign Affairs renamed into The Ministry of Foreign Affairs based on Law No. 39 of 2008 (the new law about State Ministry of 2008). KEMLU headed by a Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu) that since 27 October 2014 chaired by Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi (Retno Marsudi). Previously Retno Marsudi is the Indonesian Ambassador to the Netherlands. She was appointed by the President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo as the Minister of Foreign Affairs to replacing Marty Natalegawa. She is the first woman to be appointed to the post. KEMLU's principal office is registered at Jl Pejambon No 6 Jakarta Pusat, 10110. General Requirements
  • Indonesians Citizen (WNI), fear of God Almighty, faithful and obedient to the Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution and the Republic of Indonesia.
  • Not a student who received scholarships from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia or a foreign government, state / private sector in Indonesia and the country concerned.
  • Never dishonorably discharged as PNS / Member TNI / Police as well as private employees.
  • Not located as CPNS / PNS and not being strain agreement / contract with other agencies.
  • Not married to a person without citizenship.
  • Physically and mentally healthy.
  • Willing to be placed in all functions / parts of KBRI Canberra which is determined by the KBRI Canberra.
Specific requirements
  • Permanent Resident at Australia.
  • Minimum Bachelor degree (S1) graduated from accredited university (PTN/PTS) or overseas graduates.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Bahasa Indonesia and English).
  • Maximum age of 45 years old as of 1 January 2016 (born after 31 December 1970).

  3. Curriculum Vitae;
  4. Copy of valid Indonesian Passpor;
  5. Copy of valid Australian visa;
  6. COpy of birth certificate;
  7. Authenticated copies of Degree certifications and transcripts (temporary degree verification statements/SKL is not applicable);
  8. Copy of IELTS certificate with minimum score of 6.5;
  9. Medical and drug free certificates.
