Direktorat Jenderal Kebudayaan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia - Ditjen Kebudayaan or the Directorate General of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic Indonesia is an organizational units in the Ministry of Education and Culture which oversees the field of Culture in Indonesia. The Directorate General of Culture is based in Jakarta and its major office is situated in Komplek Kemdikbud Gedung E Lt 4 - Jl Jenderal Sudirman Senayan Jakarta 10270. The Dircetorate is headed by a Director General and currently held by Kacung Marijan. He is assisted by 5 directors and 1 secretary of the Directorate General of Culture. The Director General of Cultute is subordinate and responsible to the Minister of Education and Culture. The Directorate supported by 31 technical units (UPT) in all over Indonesia, including 6 museums, 1 conservation center, and 24 preservation units.
