Politeknik Negeri Bandung - POLBAN or Bandung State Polytechnic is reputable state polytechnic in Indonesia situated in Bandung, the capital city of West Java. POLBAN is based in Jl Gegerkalong Hilir Parongpong, Bandung. The Polytechnic was formed in 1982 under the name of Politeknik ITB and operated under Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). POLBAN initially owned 4 study programs, namely Electro Engineering, Electricity Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Politeknik Negeri Bandung was launched in 1999 and become a state polytechnic. At present, Bandung State Polytechnic hosts 18 D3 programs and 14 D4 Programs. In academic year of 2011/2012, POLBAN owned 4,475 active students in all education programs.
