Universitas Sebelas Maret - UNS (commonly known as UNS Solo) or Sebelas Maret University is a reputable state university in Indonesia and located in Surakarta Central Java. The University was established in 1976 as a merger results of 5 universities in Surakarta Central Java. UNS owned 9 faculties and provides 6 kinds of academic programs, namely Undergraduate Program, Magister Program, Doctoral Program, Diploma-3 Program, Diploma-4 Program, and Professional Education Program. To organize quality education program, the University is supported by 1,536 lecturers and 1,032 administration staffs. As of 2012, UNS has 35,562 active students with the alumni has reached 131,315 graduates.
