PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java - PHE ONWJ is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, a reputable upstream-based energy company in Indonesia part of Pertamina Group. PHE ONWJ headquartered in Jakarta and having upstream production plants in the block of Offshore North West Java (ONWJ). PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java initially known as BP West Java Limited, which was founded in 1971. Based on PT Pertamina (Persero) Annual Report 2012, PHE ONWJ acquired 5.0295% Participating Interest (PI) of Talisman Resources (NW Java) Ltd in Offshore North West Java Block. As of December 2012, PHE ONWJ managed total 58.2795% of PI in Offshore North West Java Block. Other 36.7205% PI holds by CNOOC ONWJ Ltd and 5% owned by Orchard Energy Java BV (Salamander).

Sr. Exploration Geologist

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Geological sciences, higher degree will be an advantage
  • Having experience in various hydrocarbon basin and play will be an advantage
  • Having min. 10 years of experience in exploration geology
  • Must have excellent communication skills, good team work and extensive hands on experience in technical methods and procedures of petroleum exploration using fundamental or complex scientific approach.
  • Good command in English (verbal and written)
  • Computer literacy Microsoft Office and mastery in G&G workstation application software
Exploration Geophysicist

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Geophysics/Geology, higher degree will be an advantage
  • Having min. 5 years of experience in exploration geophysics
  • Having experiences in advance seismic modeling and multi attribute analysis to support reservoir development model in exploration.
  • Having seismic interpretation experience in various geological setting in an advantage
  • Must have excellent communication skills, good team work and extensive hands on experience in technical methods and procedures of petroleum exploration using fundamental or complex scientific approach.
  • Good command in English (verbal and written)
  • Computer literacy Microsoft Office and hands on with G&G workstation application software. Openworks/Seisworks/Zmap+ workstation application will be an advantage
